Please “Give Local” April 24-25

Beginning at 7:00 a.m. April 24 and ending at 7:00 p.m. April 25, donors will have 36 hours to make secure contributions to CCS at givelocalccf.org/organizations/children-s-community-school, or by clicking the button below. The minimum donation is $10 and there is no maximum. 

When you give to CCS through the Give Local online portal, we are eligible to receive cash prizes through time-specific challenges throughout the day. 

If you are interested, we encourage you to make gifts between 11:00 am and noon on Tuesday during WATR’s Power Lunch.

Because we are an independent school, we don’t get state funding and must raise the money each year to provide this exceptional education to our students, all of whom come from low-income or ALICE households.

This year’s Give Local campaign is crucial to us.  Our Faculty, Staff, and Board of Directors work tirelessly to ensure that our mission is fulfilled each day and has been for the past 55 years!  We could not do this without the support from donors like you.

Your donations during Give Local will continue providing our Pre-K through eighth-grade students with the highest quality education and support services we can offer. YOU have gotten these students and families this far — THANK YOU for your continued support. 

If you are not comfortable giving online, you have other options: 

  • Mail your gift to us at Children’s Community School, 23 John Street, Waterbury, CT  06708.
  • Call us at 203-575-0569, x216 with your credit card and we’ll handle it over the phone.
